This release is perhaps the most mercurial of all Regional Editions since the program started in 2005. The reasons are listed below:
- It is the only Regional Edition to come from India, in 2009
- It was released in two batches, an initial release of 600 and a second release of 1000. The inner leaflet incorrectly states 2000.
- It practically has the same vitola dimensions as the regular production Punch Double Coronas and this is what we colloquially term a 'no-no' or 'faux pas' in relation to the rules for Regional Editions, which advocate different vitolas in marcas to regular production stock.
- These are highly sought after by collectors for the reasons stated above.
