For its 2015 Edición Regional release, German distributor 5th Avenue Products Trading GmbH,  decided to go big, selecting the La Gloria Cubana brand and a sizable 7 1/16 x 54 double pyramid vitola known as the Rodolfo.

As we have described before Habanos S.A.’s Edición Regional program brings sizes and marcas together to places where certain brands aren’t as common. While the La Gloria Cubana brand seems to be fairly known, the size picked for this release is definitely the rarer of the two components.

La Gloria Cubana Glorias RE 5th Avenue 2015 was selected by Habanos for sale exclusively in Germany. There have only been 6,000 boxes made. A rare find.

La Gloria Cubana Invictos RE Italia 2017 is a beautiful cigar, medium bodied with well balanced flavours and stunning aromas. A small but powerful smoke.

Not strictly a Limited Edition as the tobaccos are not aged in the same way, the cigars are not dressed with maduro wrappers and they are not adorned with the second band. Nonetheless it is a fantastic cigar and a great way to mark the 80th anniversary of the world’s most popular Havana brand. This cigar is already a collector’s item and is, unusually, presented in boxes of 20.

Montecristo Dantes LE 2016

A marked difference in shape from recent Limited Editions from Montecristo and, although it still has a ring gauge of 48, it has a decidedly slender feel to it. Nonetheless, all of the peppery tang associated with the brand very much remain in place.

Montecristo Dantes LE 2016 is made from high quality, limited tobacco leaves that is known for its beautiful and complex flavours. Aged 2 years to reach full potential.

Montecristo LINEA 1935 Leyenda

Dubbed Linea 1935, the new cigars are blended with tobacco from the Pinar del Río region in order to be the strongest Montecristo line on the market. In addition, unlike the regular Montecristo releases, each of the Linea 1935 vitolas has special secondary bands with the name of the specific viola included.

The largest of the three cigars that comprises Montecristo's new linea 1935, the Leyanda delivers an abundance of rich, flavoursome smoke over the course of the house and a half or so it takes to enjoy. Not a cigar to be hurried and perhaps best enjoyed after a hearty meal.

Montecristo Supremos Limited Edition 2019 was intorduced at the Habano Festival. Packed with immense flavours and character, it is sought after by aficionados.

Partagas Capitols

These mareva sized cigars – 5 1/8″ (129mm) x 42 ring gauge – are presented in tins of five and are the second of two products to be released by Habanos S.A under the ‘Linea Retro’ title, following on from the Romeo y Julieta Club Kings earlier in the year.

The retro metal tin, inspired by pocket cigar cases that were much in vogue in the 1970s, makes these new additions eminently portable and quite stylish. The original 1970’s cases are now much sought after by collectors around the world, fetching high prices at auction.

These cigars have been rolled to the distinct full-flavoured blend that has made Partagas such a favourite over the years and have been made “totalmente a mano con tripa larga”- totally handmade with long filler. All of the filler, binder and wrapper leaves used in making these cigars are harvested from the best tobacco-growing plantation in the Vuelta Abajo area in Pinar del Río, Cuba.

Línea Maestra is a premium extension to the Partagas range in the same way that Behike was for Cohiba in 2010, Línea 1935 for Montecristo in 2017 and Línea de Oro for Romeo y Julieta in 2020. It is the second addition following the introduction of the Partagas Línea Maduro in 2018.

The three new sizes which make up the Linea Maestra are Origen, Rito and Maestro. All are unique within the Habanos portfolio and have been crafted with a Cabeza Tumbada or ‘dropped head, a style often referred to as a ‘109’ due to Partagas 109 cigars rolled with the same finish included in commemorative branded humidors in the past. This traditional style of finishing was last seen on the Ramon Allones Hunters & Frankau Anniversario 225, a special release in 2015 to celebrate the 225th anniversary of the company.

For the first time in the history of the brand and the Habanos, S.A. portfolio, all the tobacco for the new Línea comes exclusively from the San Luis region of Pinar del Río, Cuba. This gives them a special aromatic complexity without losing the brand’s unique character and blend and are classified as full bodied like the rest of the portfolio. The Línea Maestra range is presented in striking blue lacquered boxes containing 20 cigars. Each cigar is dressed with a unique blue band sporting the name of the vitola as well as an additional foot band.

Partagas Piramide Limited Edition 2000

The classic Pirámides shape delivers rich, full bodied Partagas flavour, a popular combination upon its release. The vitola was later revived in 2005 with the introduction of the Serie P No.2 to the classic range of the brand.

Partagas Salomones LCDH is a cigar that is worthy for the aficionado, with full flavours and the most prestigious leaves. A very attractive smoke.

Partagas Serie C No.3 LE 2012 has had the benefit of a few years maturation and has settled down to creat a robust, spicy and earthy smoke with a smooth draw.

Partagas Serie D Especial LE 2010 packs a serious punch when it was first launched in the UK. Filled with plenty of rich aromas in the blend, rounded and mellow

A unique expression within the renowned Serie D line, the Serie D No.3 Limited Edition 2001 breaks tradition with its slimmer 46 ring gauge. Partagas Serie D No.2 Limited Edition 2003

The Partagas Serie D No.2 Limited Edition 2003 is a highly sought-after cigar, known for its robust and full-bodied profile. Released as part of the limited edition series, it was crafted with aged tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba, delivering an exceptional experience. This cigar measures 50 ring gauge and 156 mm , making it a substantial smoke with layers of complexity.

Partagas Serie D No.4

The Cigar

Many see this as the definitive Robusto. With its controlled, rich, complex taste and distinctive red and gold band, they have a good point. A pure bred Havana.

Partagas Serie D No.5

Following the success of a limited edition version of this size in 2008 the Serie D No.5 joined the ranks of Partagas’s standard sizes in 2011. Its tobacco leaves are selected and aged according to the normal criteria for the brand.

Partagas Serie D No.6

The Cigar

Although only 3 ½” (90mm) long this cigar has all the hallmarks of the Partagas brand. It is as rich, earthy, peppery and powerful as you would expect from Havana’s most popular full flavoured cigar brand.

Partagas Serie E No.2

2011 saw the addition of a new letter to the Partagas Alphabet Series. The E means the cigar has a ring gauge of 54. A big cigar in size and taste with attractive packaging improvements too. 

Partagas Serie P No.2 

The Cigar

A rich, earthy, full flavoured ‘torpedo’. This easy drawing, satisfying size was a welcome addition to Partagas when Habanos S.A. introduced it in 2005. The P stands for Pirámide – its factory name.

Partagas Series No. 1 LE 2017 is made with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba. Aged for 2  years, strong, rich and intense flavours.

The Por Larranaga Leones is the newest Regional Edition for Spain in 2023. It has been release into the spanish market in September 2023.

The Por Larrañaga Leones is a 42 Ring Gauge x 155mm long cigar that will come in boxes of 10. Only 50000 boxes have been released. Like every other Por Larrañaga, it comes with an immaculate golden band.

Por Larranaga Petit Corona

The Cigar

The single standard bearer for Por Larrañaga’s regular range in the UK. It carries the brand’s traditional colours well with its creamy, light to medium flavour.
