Because Montecristo is a “global” brand it cannot be used for an Edición Regional. As such, the Edmundo Dantes brand was used for this release in Mexico

The cigar measures 5 9/10 inches (150mm) long with a 54-ring gauge, a vitola known as the geniales. It is a vitola that has been used many times for Edición Regional releases, but can also be found in regular production cigars, notably the Montecristo Open Eagle and the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo de San Juan. The cigar “a generous and elegant Habano with subtle and medium-bodied notes.”
