Through months of collaborative effort between food and cigar experts, Davidoff's Team of Master Blenders and the talented curators of fine dining have crafted a remarkable fusion of flavors with the Davidoff Chefs Edition 2021.

The Chefs Edition 2025 blend incorporates select tobaccos from Davidoff's iconic White Band Collection, mirroring the chef's signature lightness and finesse. To introduce fresh notes while enhancing complexity, Davidoff's Master Blenders meticulously experimented with a variety of tobaccos and ageing techniques.

Amongst other tobaccos, additional highlights of the blend include a Dominican San Vicente that was patiently aged for 15 years for exceptional depth, a Dominican hybrid tobacco for fresh lemon notes and a Dominican Piloto that was aged in Yagua bales for five years – a technique that has never been applied to tobacco in a Davidoff cigar before. The meticulous, labour-intensive traditional method involves carefully wrapping the tobacco in natural Yagua palm leaves, whose fibrous texture allows for a more refined ageing environment. This enhances the cigar’s smoothness, sweetness and complexity

The cigar opens with notes of cayenne pepper, followed by sweet whipped cream. The Yagua-aged tobacco brings complex floral aromas to the blend. As the journey continues, an impressive bouquet of flavours emerges. Cayenne pepper is still present in the retrohale, while notes of perfumy rosewood, leather and a subtle hint of lemon entertain the palate. Towards the end of the cigar, the intensity increases slightly, unveiling a crescendo of fresh spice, coffee and oak wood. Perfumed flavours from the second third give way to more robust notes. A true masterpiece that fills time beautifully for 60 to 80 minutes.

Davidoff Black Band Limited Edition 2022 Gran Toro, a thick medley of sorts that combines tobacco from all three of its existing Black Band lines—Davidoff Nicaragua, Escurio and Yamasá.

At 5 1/2 inches long by 58 ring gauge, it’s made with an Ecuadoran wrapper, Brazilian binder and plenty of room for the filler blend of all the key Black Band tobaccos: Dominican, Nicaraguan and Brazilian.

In 1946, Zino Davidoff designed a line of cigars which would be crafted like classic Bordeaux wines. The blend would be selected depending on the soil and the climate in which the tobacco grew, just like the French ‘terroirs’. And just as Bordeaux wines blend three different main grapes, these cigars would feature three different fillers.

 Voilá, Davidoff Grand Cru cigars were born. Now, like the rich, ripe grapes of Bordeaux, the fruits of another piece of innovation have been harvested and turned into a truly remarkable cigar, one even more deserving of the title Grand Cru.

For the Diademas Finas Limited Edition Collection incorporates tobacco aged in Premier Grand Cru red wine casks from Bordeaux. In the spirit of Zino’s pioneering blends, this is the first time where a winecask aged tobacco has been used.

A San Vicente seco tobacco is matured for six months in the casks. As a result, the flavour carries the same notes which characterise the chateaux wines – dark cherries, walnuts and citrus. The combination rolls around in the mouth like wine being swirled in a glass. To add extra distinctiveness to this Limited Edition, it comes in the striking figurado format. In the Millennium blend, ligero and visus grade leaves come together for deep aromas. The unique 151 wrapper leaf contributes to an oily appearance and pronounced and complex flavours. Davidoff Millennium Piramides with its tapered head is crafted my the most highly skilled torcedores only. Its 52-ring gauge allows for the blend to give off intense flavours. Story behind the cigar
Each Millennium format is made with a unique wrapper from Ecuador. It took the Master Blenders 300 trials before trial number 151 reached their demanding standards for a wrapper leave. Hybrid 151 grows under the tropical sun in Ecuador at a finca especially chosen for its location and its unique microclimate.

Adding to the already-aged filler, binder and wrapper, Davidoff's Master Blenders also introduced a 9-year-old Estelí tobacco to the mix for the first time. But still they continued to pursue the extraordinary.

Not content with unearthing a new Nicaraguan variety, they aged the Estelí in rum casks for added depth and distinctiveness. Embarking through notes of roasted nuts, the taste gives way to oak wood and ends intensely with black coffee.

THE CIGAR

The toro features a Dominican puro blend of vintage tobaccos from five different terroirs in the Dominican Republic. One of the areas in one of these terroirs is no longer cultivated by Davidoff, meaning that the cigar contains tobacco that aficionados will not otherwise be able to taste. While each of the tobaccos has a considerable individual age, the combined age of all 7 tobaccos is an impressive 111 years.
