The Cigar 

The 'Centrofinos' or 'Centro Fino' is a classification for the leaves of the sun-grown tobacco plant harvested from around mid-way up the plant. The Centrofinos is a unique size within the Habanos portfolio, the largest of the three Vegueros cigars. It is presented in a tin of 16 cigars.

Habanos Specialist is a label created by Habanos SA to distinguish shops that carry a wide selection of Cubans and can offer relevant advice. The Connossieur B is available in boxes of 25 and single sticks.

Cohiba Medio Siglo

The Medio Siglo, literally “Half Century” was released to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary and draws inspiration from the Linea 1492’s shortest (Siglo I at 4”, 104mm) and widest (Siglo VI at 52 ring gauge) offerings.

The unique ‘extra fermentation’ that is conducted on the Seco and Legero of all Cohibas lasts for up to eighteen months and is conducted at the factory in cedar barrels. This extra age creates a unique taste. The famous Cohiba flavour is most often described as ‘Grassy’, although others have noticed tones of vanilla, cocoa and coffee. It is often noted how this extra fermentation makes the taste ‘smoother’ and more refined.

This very modern looking cigar delivers bundles of characteristic Cohiba taste, in a format ideal for when time is short. The wide gauge helps produce an abundance of smoke that drenches the palate and rewards the smoker with an easy, rounded and yet sophisticated experience.

Bolivar Petit Belicosos LE 2009 is a rich and heavy but well-balanced cigar with a shape that pleasingly honours the iconic Bolivar Belicoso Fino.

One of the 2009 Edicion Limitada offerings. Each year Habanos produce a small range of Limited Edition cigars, usually in new shapes. The Bolivar Petit Belicosos is a complex little power house. As you would expect with 2 year aged tobacco, the smoke is complex and carries a little sweetness with spicy, earthy and woody flavours associated with Bolivars. The cigar start smooth with delicate spice and woody tones, some cocoa/maduro sweetness in the middle and lots of earthy, woody in the final third.

The new cigar is a Double Robusto that measures 5 9/10 x 56, a girthy stick that continues the Cuban cigar company’s move towards bigger ring gauges.

To manufacture this product, expert Cuban torcedores –cigar rollers– work painstakingly to create a meticulous and exquisite cigar that meets the expectations of the most discerning and demanding Habanos smokers. This new release is an unprecedented vitola in the brand (“Cañonazo Especial”), only used previously in the 2011 Limited Edition, Cohiba 1966.
