As one would expect from a brand that is named after such a powerful figure, this cigar is full bodied. Bolivar is simply one of the richest and most commanding brands within the Habanos portfolio. Although not for the novice, these traits are what make it one of the most sought-after names amongst more experienced cigar smokers.

The Belicoso Fino is presented either in labelled boxes or Cabinet Selection bundles of 25 cigars. The cigars in bundles are now banded.
In 2007 Cigar Aficionado described this cigar as “A gorgeous torpedo gleaming with oils. It has a near perfect draw that imparts a luxuriously textured smoke rich with profound wood and tobacco flavours”. Then, when revisiting the cigar in 2010 went on to say “The smoke has a velvety texture and is full of toast, earth and cedary flavours that cohere to a floral, herbaceous finish”. The Bushido really is extra special because it was produced to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first Japanese citizen visiting Cuba! The citizen was of course a Samurai (Bushido could translate to “the way of the Samurai”) and this message can be seen through the carefully crafted Cigar stick but also its outer packaging. While France’s Cuban cigar distributor Coprova turned 50 in 2020, the company continues to celebrate the milestone with the El Rey del Mundo L’Epoque, a Regional Edition cigar made just for the country. According to Coprova, it will be released sometime this summer.
At 6 1/2 inches long by 54 ring gauge, the El Rey del Mundo L’Epoque has the same dimensions as the Montecristo Sublimes LE 2008 and Cohibs Sublimes LE 2004.
The Elegidos is the second cigar in the brand's regular catalogue. The Elegidos is rolled "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Corta" with leaves from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta. This rolling technique involves the use of pieces of tobacco leaf to make up the filler, rather than the whole leaf as is the case for cigars "con Tripa Larga" (Long Filler).
Barely longer than a Robustos (50 x 124 mm), the Elegidos is in line with the new trend of "short smokes", which are increasingly appreciated by aficionados because they offer a complex aromatic profile for a relatively short tasting time.
