In the 11th batch of The GlenDronach Granduer series, master blender Rachel Barrie has personally selected well-aged whisky drawn from oloroso casks. At 28 years old, this single malt from the Highland distillery was bottled at 48.9%, with a release of 3,181 bottles, each housed in a wooden presentation box.

Tasting notes:
Appearance: Ruby tinged walnut

Nose: opulent and powerful with a symphony of sherry aromatics interwoven with dark manuka honey, roasted almond and walnut baked plum and ginger captivate the senses, deepening to rustic vintage leather and freshly ground coffee.

Palate: Intense and full-bodied with dark fruit notes on a base of velvet and fine leather. A crescendo of black cherry and espresso adorns each mouthful.

Conclusions: Richly rewarding, with a persistent chocolate, liquorice and walnut finish.

Following the successful global launch of the 2024 Habanos Limited Edition Trinidad Cabildos Premier pack during Habanos World Days in London earlier this year, we are delighted to now offer the Trinidad Cabildos in the more traditional format of 12 cigars presented in very stylish slide lid wooden boxes These much-lauded cigars were unveiled in this format during an event that took place in Doha, Qatar earlier this month and the UK is the first country outside of this market to offer these illustrious cigars in this presentation.

The Trinidad Cabildos are presented in two rows of six cigars and, as with the Premier Pack, each cigar will have a foot-band that contains an NFC authentication chip. Known as an Ilustres in the factories of Cuba, this unique size measures 6⅜″ (162mm) x 46 ring gauge and has been made using the classic, approachable medium bodied Trinidad blend.

All of the cigars have been made entirely by hand using long filler tobacco leaf sourced from the Vuelta Abajo zone of Cuba. As with Limited Editions produced from 2007, all the leaves used have been aged for a minimum of two years before being rolled and the cigars are dressed in dark, maduro, wrappers.

The Trinidad Cabildos EL 2024 is 6 1/8 by 46 ring gauge. The name Cabildos, which translates from the Spanish as “town councils,” refers to social associations during Cuba’s colonial times, according to Habanos.

As part of the celebrations, the Trinidad Cabildos will make its world premiere at the Gala dinner on the 22^nd June 2024 in a very special Premier Pack that have been made exclusively for HWD and the UK market

This is the second premier pack that habanos has ever produced. Only 10,000 numbered premier packs have been made. Each Premier Pack will contain 5 Cabildos., and will be sale exclusively in the United Kingdom. It is expected that boxes of 12 Cabildos will go on general worldwide sale in around six months’ time. 

The Trinidad Cabildos is the fourth Edition Limited from the brand, following the Ingenios (2007), Short Robusto T (2010) and Topes (2016).

Habanos S.A. every year present a very special and impressively large cigar in a book collection. The name of this special series is "Colección Habanos", which already indicates who this edition, it is aimed at: Habanophile collectors of cigar gems. 

There are only 3,000 individually numbered books worldwide and despite the high prices, the select few are lucky enough to own such a book. 

The Trinidad brand was chosen for this Colección Habanos because it celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019. Like all cigars from the Colección Habanos, the Trinidad Casildas are absolute top products and are undoubtedly among the best that are made in Cuba. Although Trinidad Coloniales remain in the current Habanos portfolio (boxes of 24), the popular five pack format has not been seen for several years.

Although there are no plans for their re-introduction, a limited quantity of the original
small packs have been released containing cigars from this year’s production. Coloniales measure 5 1⁄4” (132mm) x 44 ring gauge and carry the signature Trinidad pigtails.

Trinidad Fundadores has a completly different blend to the original Trinidad Cigars. Its a much more milder aromatic smoke, medium in strength. Subtle floral flavours, herbal flavours, and light honey sweetness. The flavours are complex and balanced. The unique Cohiba grassy flavour is present, however very subtle. 

This is by all means a connoisseurs cigar, and require a connoisseurs smoking technique. Drawing too fast or frequent makes the cigar heat up and ruin the taste. 

We are delighted that 20 of these exquisite commemorative humidors containing 55 x Vintage 10 Trinidad Fundadores have been made available as part of the Habanos World Days (HWD) celebrations, making the UK the first in the world to receive these spectacular pieces.

The humidors will form a numbered series of only 1,000 pieces, each containing 55 Trinidad Fundadores Vintage 10. S.T Dupont drew their inspiration for the humidors from the stylish travel trunks that became popular amongst more affluent voyagers at the beginning of the 20th century.

The Habanos Vintage concept makes its world debut with the launch of Trinidad Fundadores Vintage 10 as part of the celebrations to mark the 55th anniversary of the Trinidad brand. 

A Habano Vintage is a Habano that, after being hand-rolled, is laid to rest alongside its compatriots to begin a delicate aging process that will last for a minimum of 5 years. Overtime, the blend of tobacco leaves meld and the sharpness of youth make way for delicate, sophisticated, rounded aromas revealing a character that only patience can unlock. All the cigars are aged in their original boxes with the ageing counted from the date of rolling and resting

This aging process is overseen by the Regulatory Council of the Protected Appellations of Origin of Habanos, D.O.P. There are four Vintage categories and each cigar is dressed with a second band that denotes which one it represents.

Each cigar within this humidor will be elegantly dressed with an additional special and unique band for the occasion revealing its aging category and a foot band designed exclusively for this launch.

A very limited run of gorgeous, long-aged Irish whiskey, bottled exclusively for us by The Whisky Agency. The late 80s and early 90s were a sweet spot for whiskey from this anonymous Irish distillery, with a huge amount of fruity flavour in every bottling. This one zeroes in on mangoes, and is one of the juiciest drams we've ever tried. A must-taste for fans of the style.
