Vertigo Big Daddy Cutter: This cutter will cut any Cigar up to an 80 ring gauge. For those not in the know, there aren't many Cigars of that gauge on the market so it's fair to say that this cutter will cut any Cigar!

Double Blade Cutters: The main aim is to clear a passage in the end cap of the cigar without damaging the carefully rolled filler or the outer leaf. The double bladed design ensures a clean cut and almost eliminates chance of trapping the outer wrapper as the blade enters the recess.

Celebrate Oxford Circus station with this limited-edition single malt from West London distillery Bimber, made in collaboration with TFL and matured in a single ex-bourbon barrel. Aromas of sticky pineapple chunks, toffee apples, shortbread biscuits and creamy coffee fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried mango, lemon, ginger, toffee and nutmeg throughout the palate.

NOSE: Expressive charred pineapple chunks and crunchy toffee-covered apples sit with shortbread, rolled pastry, condensed milk and wonderfully creamy caffé latte.

PALATE: Full bodied and with immediate impactful flavour. Dried mango slices, lemon and ginger jelly and toffee-filed bon bons are livened by piquant wood spices.

FINISH: Sustained sweet and sour tropical fruitiness alongside dusty nutmeg.

EX-BOURBON CASK celebrates Waterloo station.

Waterloo Station was opened on 11th March 1848 and today is the UK’s busiest railway station. The main entrance ‘Victory Arch’ is a Grade II listed building constructed as a memorial to the 585 workers of the London & South Western Railway who lost their lives in the Great War. The station’s iconic four-sided clock face has long been used in film and fiction as a romantic spot for couples to rendezvous.

NOSE: Bright, succulent pineapple juice supported by nougat, bourbon biscuits delectable toffee. Gentle char sits alongside split vanilla pods and lithe minerality.

PALATE: A syrupy body packed full of tropical fruitiness, citrus sugar and freshly squeeze orange juice. Chocolate covered biscuits and burnt toffee provide a succulent core.

FINISH: Earthy nutmeg and powdered ginger with fading fruitiness.

A limited-edition single malt from Bimber distillery in West London, made in collaboration with Transport For London and matured in a single American oak ex-bourbon barrel, this whisky celebrates Baker Street station. Aromas of roasted pineapple, caramel, Turkish Delight, cocoa and ginger fill the nose, complemented by notes of banoffee pie, cinnamon, blackberries, dark chocolate and plums throughout the palate.

A limited-edition single malt from West London distillery Bimber, made in collaboration with TFL, this bourbon barrel matured whisky celebrates London's iconic King's Cross station. Aromas of charred peaches, red apples, pineapple, creamy toffee and oaky spice fill the nose, complemented by notes of whipped cream, ripe apricots, chocolate mousse, vanilla and black pepper throughout the palate.

Description

We are very pleased to be able to offer you these very rare and very tasty Bolivar cigars made exclusively for the German market in 2009. These cigars come in 109 vitola, one of our most favorite vitolas out there, in boxes of 20 cigars. Only 3000 boxes have been made.

A mild beginning with a little spice and a very woody taste progresses to biscuity and nutty flavours of almonds and walnuts. One of the best Bolivar cigars out there!

Bolivar Belicosos Finos

The Cigar

As one would expect from a brand that is named after such a powerful figure, this cigar is full bodied. Bolivar is simply one of the richest and most commanding brands within the Habanos portfolio. Although not for the novice, these traits are what make it one of the most sought-after names amongst more experienced cigar smokers.

The full gauge of the Belicoso Fino, combined with the tapered end of this Campana shape, which means “bell” in Spanish, creates the ideal format for a robust blend of leaves. The Belicoso Fino is presented either in labelled boxes or Cabinet Selection bundles of 25 cigars. The cigars in bundles are now banded.

In 2007 Cigar Aficionado described this cigar as “A gorgeous torpedo gleaming with oils. It has a near perfect draw that imparts a luxuriously textured smoke rich with profound wood and tobacco flavours”. Then, when revisiting the cigar in 2010 went on to say “The smoke has a velvety texture and is full of toast, earth and cedary flavours that cohere to a floral, herbaceous finish”. They also scored it an impressive 92 out of 100.

Bolivar Belicosos Finos Reserva Cosecha 2016

The Cigar

This is the first time that Bolívar has been selected to create a Reserva and it is perhaps no surprise that they have chosen their most iconic vitola (size) to do so: The Belicoso Fino.

The Reserva classification signifies that all the tobacco used has been aged in bales for three years before being rolled into cigars. The leaves used for this particular release were all harvested in 2016.

The Bolívar Gold Medal will be returning to La Casa del Habano (LCDH) stores around the world, but it won’t be the same Bolívar Gold Medal as before.

Habanos S.A. has announced that the Bolívar New Gold Medal will be available exclusively to LCDH stores. It’s a size known as the Partagás 15, 6 1/2 (165mm) x 48. That’s the same length as the original Gold Medal, but the ring gauge has increased from 42 ring gauge.

Like the previous Gold Medal, the cigar is covered in golden foil that begins at the top of the cigar and the Bolívar band is placed over the foil at the bottom of the foil. A red LCDH band is placed below that. It will be offered in 10-count boxes.

Description

Bolivar Petit Belicosos LE 2009 is a rich and heavy but well-balanced cigar with a shape that pleasingly honours the iconic Bolivar Belicoso Fino.

One of the 2009 Edicion Limitada offerings. Each year Habanos produce a small range of Limited Edition cigars, usually in new shapes. The Bolivar Petit Belicosos is a complex little power house. As you would expect with 2 year aged tobacco, the smoke is complex and carries a little sweetness with spicy, earthy and woody flavours associated with Bolivars. The cigar start smooth with delicate spice and woody tones, some cocoa/maduro sweetness in the middle and lots of earthy, woody in the final third.

Bolivar Petit Coronas

The Cigar

Simon Bolivar was one of the great historic figures of the 19th Century who liberated much of South America from Spanish rule.

The Bolivar brand was created in 1902 and is based today in the Partagas factory which is in the heart of Havana. 

It is perhaps not surprising that a Habano named after such a powerful figure is blended to match his might. Bolivar is among the strongest, most full bodied of all Habanos. It boasts an unrivalled richness of flavour in its blend of Vuelta Abajo zone filler and binder tobacco that makes it one of the most sought-after marques amongst experienced smokers.

That was when Cuban cigarmakers created and made some of their best cigars. “They also made it their Cigar Of The Year in 2006.

Min Ron NEE, in ‘An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Post Revolution Havana Cigars’ describes the royal Coronas as ‘Suave’ with ‘earthy and peppery flavours’. He goes on to add ‘Bolivar is one of my favourite brands. If I was condemned to smoke only one brand, I have no hesitation that Bolivar would be the choice’.
