There’s not many boutique brands that have had as big a “hype train” as Caldwell. They seem to have gone from a little-known brand, to one of the most talked about, in no time at all! Sometimes “fad cigars” can leave us a bit disappointed, but this one has some legitimacy. This brand will surprise and delight you and is certainly one that you should submit to the latest trend with. Unique and interesting blending meets quality and style. This is one hype train that won’t be derailed!
Robert Caldwell is the face of Caldwell Cigar Co. a company founded in 2014 that produces its core line of cigars at Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. Caldwell entered the cigar industry in 2008, when he launched a concierge-like service that provides cigars and cigar accessories to high-end hotels and restaurants. Today, his portfolio boasts over 10 brands made in three different countries, and he’s known for his popular collaborative blending projects with other cigar makers
Robert Caldwell's affinity for cigars began after visiting Ernesto Perez-Carrillo's factory in Little Havana when he was just 12 years old. He was immediately drawn to the craftsmanship, complexity and grace of cigar manufacturing. Little did he know that 20 years later he would release such a special cigar with Ernesto. Anastasia is Robert Caldwell's pride and joy. Anastasia closes the circle of his journey through the industry back to the spark of initial interest that led to a life dedicated to premium cigar manufacturing
Officially the cigar is simply called Anastasia but it is actually the fourth cigar to be released under this name, previous Anastasia releases had either blue or green bands but this release is the Anastasia Yellow Band. It is made in the Dominican Republic but the factory and blend are being kept a closely guarded secret

A new era of dynamic flavour begins. For the first time, Davidoff sets out from the Dominican Republic to explore new tobaccos and flavours in the wider world. And thus, the iconic Black Band graces a Davidoff cigar for the first time. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this modern classic, Davidoff's Master Blenders set out anew to explore, adventure and discover, this time to climb to new heights of taste to match Nicaragua’s volcanic peaks.
The result is an experience of another level.
The tobaccos in this Limited Edition have been aged for an incredible total of 45 years.
Adding to the already-aged filler, binder and wrapper, Davidoff's Master Blenders also introduced a 9-year-old Estelí tobacco to the mix for the first time. But still they continued to pursue the extraordinary.
Not content with unearthing a new Nicaraguan variety, they aged the Estelí in rum casks for added depth and distinctiveness. Embarking through notes of roasted nuts, the taste gives way to oak wood and ends intensely with black coffee.
Due to the gran toro’s complexity, flavours and its full body, an ideal pairing companion to enhance the experience is a Nicaraguan rum. Its spicy notes and generally less sweet taste complement the cigar’s main aromas of roasted nuts, oak wood and black coffee nicely.
The 12 gran toro cigars come in a wooden box which displays the carefully varnished Nicaragua pattern.
Limited to 14,585 boxes of 12 cigars worldwide.

Por Larranaga Prometidos Regional Edition France 2023
The cigar is a robusto extra vitola that measures 5 1/2 inches (140mm) long with a 54 ring gauge, a vitola with the factory name Duke. It is a vitola that debuted in 2009 with the Romeo y Julieta Dukes, an Edición Limitada, and has since been used for the Partagás Serie E. No.2 and a number of Edicion Regional releases.
The release, which was commissioned by Coprova, the distributor of Habanos S.A. products in France, is limited to 20,000 individually numbered boxes of 10 cigars, a total run of 200,000 cigars.
This is the second time that the Por Larrañaga brand has been selected for a French Edición Regional; in 2015 the Por Larrañaga Opera was released, a 4 1/2 x 52 petit robusto, with the cigar getting a re-release in 2016.
The Prometidos is one of five Por Larrañaga Ediciónes Regional that are part of the 2021 class.
The cigar is offered in the 109 vitola, a double robusto that measures 7 1/4 inches (184cm) long and has a 50 ring gauge and is notable for the softer shoulders and flat top of its head. While this is the first time that the 109 vitola has been used for a Quai d’Orsay Edición Regional, the Selection Royale ER Switzerland marks the third time that Intertabak AG, the distributor of Habanos S.A. in Switzerland, has selected the vitola for an Edición Regional.
Production is capped at 80,000 cigars, with 1,600 sliding-lid boxes of 50 cigars produced.
For its 2018 Edición Regional, Pacific Cigar Co.—the distributor for almost of all Asia—chose a lonsdale in the Punch brand. Called the Punch 8-9-8, the cigar measures 6 7/10 (170mm) x 43, a vitola named Dalias. It is the same size as the well-known Partagás 8-9-8 and the Cohiba Siglo V, as well as various other cigars branded 8-9-8 over the years. In what has become an increasingly popular thing to do, the cigars were limited to a number of boxes that use the number eight—a lucky number in Chinese culture—specifically 8,888 boxes of 10.
In the Millennium blend, ligero and visus grade leaves come together for deep aromas. The unique 151 wrapper leaf contributes to an oily appearance and pronounced and complex flavours. Davidoff Millennium Piramides with its tapered head is crafted my the most highly skilled torcedores only. Its 52-ring gauge allows for the blend to give off intense flavours. Initially, daring notes of oak wood and coffee accompany aromas of sweet prunes. In the second third, dark chocolate complements intense bouquets of almonds and white pepper. At the cigar's grand finale, pronounced flavours of peat are finished with piquant white pepper and liquorice.
Story behind the cigar Each Millennium format is made with a unique wrapper from Ecuador. It took the Master Blenders 300 trials before trial number 151 reached their demanding standards for a wrapper leave. Hybrid 151 grows under the tropical sun in Ecuador at a finca especially chosen for its location and its unique microclimate.

The Ramon Allones Allones No.3 measures 5 5/8” (138mm) x 52 and is presented in labelled boxes of ten cigars. The size is redolent of the internationally popular Montecristo Edmundo (being just 3mm shorter) and is known as a Nobleza in the cigar factories of Cuba.
The only time this size has been seen before was in 2017 with the Limited Edition, Partagas Serie No.1. Ramón Allones plays a major role in the centuries old story of Havana cigars. Founded in 1837, it is also one of the oldest brands still in production, second only to Por Larrañaga (1834).
Between 1911 and 1927 Hunters & Frankau owned the Ramon Allones factory in Havana as well as the world wide brand rights. It is perhaps understandable then that we are particularly pleased to see this new addition to the classic range, the first in well over 40 years. Full flavoured, all the cigars are made ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano’ – long filler, totally handmade. They are made with a blend of filler and binder tobaccos harvested exclusively from the Vuelta Abajo zone of Pinar del Rio, characterised by its intense and complex taste.
Discover the new Juan Lopez Adon Regional Edition Libano, the perfect combination of power and flavor. It has a Montesco galera vitola, 55 ring gauge and 130mm length, making it a medium to full strength Habano. Enjoy a unique and characteristic flavor, sure to satisfy the tastes of both brand lovers and cigar connoisseurs alike!
The Partagás Aliados measures 6 5/8” (167mm) x 45 ring gauge and is presented in a beautifully crafted, clear lacquered wooden box containing 20 cigars that are each dressed with two bands. The first is the classic Partagas band while the second denotes the exclusive availability of this vitola (size) through the global network of La Casa del Habanos and Havana Cigar Specialist shops, the cornerstone for Habanos in most markets.
The Aliados is a unique vitola in the Habanos portfolio and is known as a Delirios in the cigar factories of Cuba. The taste of Partagas is immediately recognisable with rich, earthy notes delivered the moment this distinct Habano is fired into life. The character of the blend springs from a selection of filler and binder tobaccos grown in the Vuelta Abajo zone and
On May 22, 2013 (Basel, Switzerland), the Davidoff tobacco masters crafted a limited edition “Club House” Toro Cigar, designed to heighten shared moments of pleasure. Showcasing the connoisseur’s taste, the product is ideal for enjoying on the golf course.
The Master Blenders of Davidoff created this unique Toro with a focus on delivering appealing aromas and flavors, while experimenting with rare and specially aged tobaccos.
The Gran Toro format of the Davidoff Masters Edition Club House Toro supplies a luxurious, yet balanced and nuanced taste with its Yamasá wrapper, Mejorado filler, and Ecuadorian binder.
Mild peppery and creamy notes are followed by subtle hints of chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Presenting a charming flair, both the cigar box and second band feature a golf ball pattern in glossy white.
This limited edition of 7,000 boxes worldwide is the ideal accompaniment to elevate a round of golf with friends. This collector's item is the pinnacle of a perfect golf day.
The Siete Oscuro cigar was created by Davidoff Master Blender Eladio Diaz as a gift to himself and his friends for his 60th birthday - The name takes reference to the blend of seven (Siete) tobaccos that is crowned by a dark (Oscuro) shade grown wrapper leaf.
The dark, medium-bodied Toro cigar is charming with pronounced sweet nougat notes, deep coffee aromas and a compelling leathery flavour. Inspired by the autumn season with its obscure days and long nights when one finds comfort in more flavourful, sweeter cigars.
The exceptional combination of aromas is supported by the vintage heritage: crafted in 2016 this small batch has been resting and ageing since.
Ramon Allones King of North Edicion Regional Nordico 2020

Limited to 6,000 numbered boxes of 10, the cigar features a 6 1/10 (155mm) x 50 toro.
The famed 151 wrapper was once the preferred format for appreciating the "Millennium Blend Lancero." Now, the Davidoff Millennium Lancero Limited Edition Collection allows smokers to once again experience its balanced taste.
The elegantly long Lancero presents an intense yet refined taste experience. At the start of the cigar, daring notes of oak wood and coffee accompany aromas of sweet prunes. In the second third, dark chocolate complements intense bouquets of almonds and white pepper. As the cigar approaches its grand finale, pronounced flavours of peat are finished with piquant white pepper and liquorice.
This 40 RG x 7" lancero Limited Edition Collection cigar is optimal for a whisky-based cocktail, bringing together notes of oak wood, dark chocolate, and liquorice to provide a medium-intense and sophisticated experience.
Oro Blanco is the rarest cigar Davidoff has ever crafted. It is in fact so rare, that even at Davidoff do not know when the Master Blender will be ready to release more of these remarkable cigars.
It takes three rivers to create a soil rich enough to grow these exceptional tobaccos. It takes 12 years to age these tobaccos and the skill and craft of the very best Davidoff Master Blender. Even then it takes a further 18 months of ageing until the cigar is at its very peak.
It is difficult to put Oro Blanco into words. Oro Blanco is unforgettably balanced, elegant and refined. We invite you to discover it for yourself. When you have found a moment special enough.
A robusto 6 1/2 x 52 Nicaraguan puro, the Flor De Las Antillas Robusto literally translates to “Flower of The Antilles”. This special 10th anniversary edition contains a modified blend of the regular production Flor de Las Antillas line and is comprised of tobaccos cultivated exclusively by the Garcia family, along with a wrapper of increased priming for a darker and stronger cigar than the regular blend.
A limited run of 60,000 cigars is available, each coming in its own coffin and adorned with a modified primary band to seal the box. As a reference to the launch year, 2012, each box of 12 cigars includes a foot ribbon to distinguish this special edition. My Father Cigars’ factory in Estelí, Nicaragua produces the Flor de Las Antillas 10th Anniversary cigars.
For those who can’t read ancient Greek, “ΟΜΗΡΟΣ” translates to Homer, a nod to the epic poet who penned TheIliad and The Odyssey, two canonic works of ancient Greek literature. It’s perhaps a bit of poetic justice that this cigar is named for a literary figure, as the Sancho Panza brand has literary roots as well. Sancho Panza is a character from the epic Spanish Cervantes novel Don Quixote. - Cigar Aficionado
This Sancho Panza was intended for 2020, but like so many Cuban cigars, the release date was delayed. The Regional Edition was unveiled in typical celebratory fashion late last month at a lavish launch party at Nammos, a seaside venue in Limassol on the coast of Cyprus.
Nestled in the rich, volcanic soil of the Dominican Republic lies Chateau de la Fuente, home to the finest cigar of our time: the coveted Fuente Fuente OpusX. The mineral-rich soils of the Dominican Republic, once deemed unsuitable for wrapper tobacco, had never met with the expertise and tenacity of the Fuente family. Together they cultivated a glorious wrapper tobacco that became the foundation for the infamous Fuente Fuente OpusX, the first-ever Dominican puro. Today Fuente Fuente OpusX is regarded as the pinnacle of cigar perfection and the standard by which all cigars are measured.
The unique combination of Fuente tobaccos produces smooth and bold flavors, in harmony with the sweet lingering fullness of the exclusive Fuente Fuente OpusX wrapper tobacco. These cigars feature flawless construction, exquisite taste, and a century of mastery and tradition.
The term “Angel’s Share” is used in the wine-making process. Winemakers often use oak barrels to store their wine during the aging process. When the wine ages for long periods of time, some of it will evaporate from the barrel. The evaporated wine is called the Angel’s Share, alluding to the belief that the guardian angels that watch over the wine, sample it and give their blessings.
Since Fuente lost so much priceless aged tobacco during the fire in 2012, the inspiration for this cigar came from that exact term.
The burned-down warehouses contained tobacco that had been aging since the late 40s and 50s. The Fuente family was saving it for the special 100-year anniversary. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be, as the fire consumed much of the precious tobacco. It made the family extremely sad and depressed, but out of that came the Angel’s Share cigar.
From this, it is implied that the Angels enjoyed the enticing aroma from the tobacco that burned in the barns but in turn, gave their blessings to the Fuente family for future successful endeavors.
The Fuente Fuente OpusX Angel’s Share uses a wrapper from the middle priming of the tobacco plant as opposed to the top priming from which Fuente Fuente OpusX are typically made. Carlos Fuente Jr. focused more on this part of the plant, which he believes is where most of the heart and flavour is.

Technically the Magnum 52 is a unique size within the Habanos SA portfolio, measures 5 7/8” (148mm) x 52 ring gauge. However, if it appears familiar it may be due to its similarity with the Cohiba Siglo VI, being just 2mm shorter and sharing a 52 ring gauge.

Mr. Leopoldo Cintra González, Commercial Vice President, and Mr. José María López Inchaurbe, Vice President of Development at Habanos, S.A. said “We are pleased to commemorate the Chinese New Year for the third consecutive year with a vitola such as “Magnum 52′′ under the H.
