On February 7th, 1993, we started our journey, opening our first store on Teddington's Broad Street. From a simple Paper Shop, we grew into a distinguished destination for cigars, chocolates, and elegant gifts. The 1996-97 cigar boom pushed us online with the Broadweighs Cigar Store website, expanding our reach across the nation and forming lasting friendships.
2008
In 2007, faced with the indoor smoking ban, we aimed to transform the cigar experience. We found a perfect unit with a basement in Teddington, leading to our new store's launch on September 30th, 2008. It became the UK's first indoor 'Cigar Sampling Lounge,' also introducing the first 'La Casa Del Habano' franchise in the country.
2019
In December 2019, our vision came true with No.6 Cavendish, a central London cigar haven. After 7 years of searching, we found the perfect spot in Cavendish Square. It's not just a large cigar sampling lounge; it's an upscale establishment with a bar offering drinks that perfectly complement the cigars. Despite challenges like flooding and Covid, No.6 Cavendish stands strong as a testament to our dedication and passion
2023
We've reached a remarkable milestone – three decades in the cigar world, with two acclaimed London spots: Hava Havana in Teddington and No.6 Cavendish in Central London. This achievement reflects our dedication, hard work, and the addition of our daughter, Rekha, who continues the legacy. A big THANK YOU to our wonderful community – patrons, friends, and family. This milestone celebrates more than a business; it's a bridge connecting diverse paths through the joy of cigars. As we mark this occasion, we honor three decades of a journey that brings people together through this timeless pleasure.
