The new Zino Honduras line boasts an exciting tobacco blend from the Jamastrán Valley and the Copán region in Honduras. The unique climate of the Copán region, with its warm days and cool nights, allows the tobacco to develop a rich aroma. During the day, high sugar production occurs, and the cool nights help preserve these sugars. This results in tobacco with a complex aroma, gentle natural sweetness, and moderate intensity.

BLENDING AND TASTE

The challenge was to create a harmonious blend by balancing the spicy and intense flavors of the Jamastrán Valley tobaccos with the sweet, woody, and earthy notes of the Copán tobacco. This required expert craftsmanship to ensure a smooth fusion of flavors. The Copán tobacco, which undergoes the longest aging process, was aged for approximately three to five years. This aging adds a creamy smoothness, softening any harsher notes.
